This riflle has popped up a couple times on my favorite local classified site, and I was wondering what the story on these is, and what's a realistic value (I'm thinking he has highly optimistc hopes here). It's pretty cool, looks to be a 11-miilion arsenal 26, imported by Ksport, with parkerized finish and then stuck into an OD green synthetc Butler Creek stock.
As always, any solid info is much appreciated....(here's the link to the ad, with good pics).

That was a very desirable gun right until he swapped out the original receiver cover for that POS scope mount and likely marred the hell out of the receiver when tightening the lower setscrews.
In original condition, it's well worth a trade for a low to mid end AK. As it is now, maybe $400...maybe.
The green stock guns are very desirable. The stock is correct and says k-sports in two places. You don't see the 20" versions that much.
The last para version sold on gunbroker for over $600. I recently sold my green parka para for $550, and mine did not have the original magazine.
I can't recall seeing a 20" green being sold. They are really only popular with hardcore collectors, because to everyone else they just look like any other bubbad plastic stock sks.
Who did the work on these... Ksport?
Yeah, KSI upgraded these in the states. SN's run the gambit though, no rhyme or reason to the guns, likely just a misc. batch out of China that KSI wanted to upgrade to sell at a premium.
Thanks again, guys ! Good info!
I'm beginning to think that I may have sold mine a bit cheap. Sold my NIB 16" barrel Parka Para for $550.00 about a year ago. I liked it, but I could tell the parkerizing was going to show "handling marks" fairly easy. As RM mentioned, the scope mount on that one probably buggered the finish up pretty good. They look great NIB, though.

It was a /26\ arsenal Parka Para too, but my pic isn't very good of the arsenal mark. Both are 11 million, short lug, though.

I think you did alright. The problem will selling these, is very few people know they are collectible.
Damn if you do, damn if you don't. They're just not around. PAX
Guess I was mistaken...I still have mine, lol. I sold a few of my guns in a package deal, and the guy held off on the parka para and another gun because it was too much money all at once. Opened my safe the other day and saw it still sitting there. 8)
