Dang, a bull pup in 7.62 NATO :o 8)
I've never fired a bull pup. It seems like heavy trigger pull is an inherent issue of the design with the extra linkage required for the "remote" trigger, but I guess a lot of successful battle rifles and assault rifles with 7-10 lb triggers have performed well in their intended role over the last century.
The current Tavor SAR an X95 are full on military rifles. They are Israeli weapons, and their primary firearm.
The stock trigger pull is about the same as a stock AR, and just like an AR, there are upgraded trigger packs.
My project SKavor, has a really nice trigger, I was quite surprised when it was done.
nice! what's the price around :o?

I haven't heard anything on price yet. The SAR and X95 are in the $1600-$1800 range, so I'd guess the Tavor 7 will probably be $2000-$2200.

Why do you think I made one out of an SKS? rofl chuckles1
Have a Tavor TAR-21 (Canadian version) and very happy with it, rumours of a .308 version have been around for awhile but looks like it's finally just around the corner - very high on my list!
