I was definitely snoozing:

Apparently, the seller knew what he had and at the same time had absolutely no idea what he had.
How long til it shows up again with a $1500+ starting bid?
Actually, after looking at the photos. It might not be all that special. The only other visible serial (bolt carrier) is a mismatch.
Still, for $650...
Still too rich for my blood. But maybe not for true dyed in the wool collectors. I shoot the majority of my sks rifles and love my Chinese "ghost" mixmaster the most even though it only cost me $300. I have never paid more than $450 for my any of my SKS rifles including a 1951 Russian which was the one that cost me $450. For the price of a rifle like this, I would not want to shoot it at that price. And if I am not wanting to shoot a rifle or pistol that I have, I sell it off quick. Any rifle or pistol I own gets shot for my enjoyment and not for my enjoyment of just owning it. I guess I am more of a shooter and not a die hard true collector. :( YMMV!
:o Dang, for $650 I would have jumped all over that...if I had been watching doh1 What a steal! I haven't been paying much attention to the Broker lately.
Seller made at least a $500 mistake with the addition of the BIN. Regardless of matching serials, that gun is ridiculously hard to find. Like P32, I would have jumped all over it had I seen it.
Nice find Boris, one of these days your persistence will pay off and you'll land one of the big three. thumb1

I can't take credit for finding it. New member posted it over on gunboards.
I'm biding my time til the x-mas slump before i make any new sks purchases-- unless a gem pops up. I would have passed on this one had I seen it-- out of my range for now.
However, it looks like possibly a new addition to the serial data base, yes?
My buddy sent me this auction an hour after it was claimed. I'm still nauseous.
Freaking fantastically cool deal. This is why I always hit a pawn shop on the road. Congrats to the buyer thumb1
