Title: SVT-40 vs Tavor at 100m
Post by: Luke2236 on February 16, 2017, 12:19:36 PM
This was just a little spur of the moment comparison last time I had both to the range - was trying out some AR Comp powder for the Tavor, initial  working some up of some new 3 gun ammo loads (the Tavor is basically a 2 MOA rifle, no track driver but is more consistent with the heavier bullets). Only had some commercial Barnaul at the time for the SVT, but like I said - nothing complicated or scientific (no bags or supports, sitting and two hand hold), just for ****es and giggles. Stuck with 100m as with iron sights anything beyond that and my old(er) eyes give up the ghost (had a 1X holo sight on the Tavor).

I've got some x54r handloads stockpiled to try again now to (hopefully!) improve on that too  thumb1
