Title: Golden Tiger in 5.56x45
Post by: running-man on January 24, 2017, 12:04:30 PM
Just got an email blast from SGAmmo.  They have a new lot of 5.56x45 in from Golden Tiger.  Sounds interesting enough and a pretty good price at 21 cents a round.  Anyone have any experience with the old lots of 5.56 from Golden Tiger?  I had read that the primers were too hard and the ammo was very gun dependent.  It would seem that they have fixed those issues to SG's request with this lot.  Would be interested to see any reviews anyone might come across on this stuff...

I bought 200 rounds from SG Ammo in December, and it was my first time trying GT.  I had a 4-5% FTF (failure to fire) rate with the ammo.  It would always fire on the second strike.
