Here is my Belgian made High Power from 1972 it is a hard chrome finish and came with two Belgian magazines with the same finish . it is all factory except the stippling on the grip and front of the trigger loop. Because the serial number was originally on the forward grip strap. Whoever did the stippling restamped the serial on the right side of the frame. The magazine safety has also been removed. I will be putting Crimson Trace red laser grips soon.
I understand that my gun is custom worked by Armond Swenson in the late 70's.

I have no idea how I missed this one, but man that's a beauty!
On a side note, it's very hard to make quality hard chromed anything in the states these days. The EPA has greatly regulated away much of the hexavalent chromium required in many of the old processes. The newer trivalent processes dont give as good corrosion protection and the color tints are noticably different from the old style processes. There are still platers using the old processes, but they are few and far between an they also charge an arm and a leg. We have to send all our cylinders, pistons, rods, etc. at work to either Houston or California (as bizzare as that sounds with their additional regs above and beyond the fed regs) for hard chrome processing.

It's a one holer at 11 yards (almost) and at 25 yards benched a 2.5 inch group with the laser grips.
Yes LC the are ebony grip panels. I saved them when a added the CT laser grips.
