"It's your gun, do as you please." Can that not apply to the D's anymore? What does someone living in the USA have to do while "using" a gun to make it end up looking like that? I have the .22LR Bolt Action that I bought when I was 15yo, (almost 50 years ago), that was used, used, and used some more, and it still looks good. Dang.

I borrowed these links from the Gunbroker listings.

Did any body notice the mag release?
:o...........................Joe
That release looks like a combo sks/ak job! Did Bubba do that?
My guess is the trigger assy is from a 'standard' SKS and modified for the AK mags.

I saw one of these over at the other place many year ago and shrugged it off as bubba. Now I have SN and importer. It appears to be an AK style release actuating an MC5D style release.

I didn't notice it until you pointed it out Joe. One of my D's is just 321 rifles younger than this one, but with the normal Beta Arms SKS-D mag release. I wish the auction had shown a pic of the matching, or not, serial numbered Trigger Group. Won't know if it was original to the rifle, or not. But in the world of Chinese SKS, anything is possible.
