Never seen an AVS-36 before, not sure I even knew such a thing existed.

What an absolute travesty if he did indeed flame cut the receiver just to be able to sell it and eke out a bit of profit.  It belonged in a museum if it was in working condition...

Ok, I'm dumb.  Is this a select fire rifle making it illegal to sell unless the receiver was cut?  What price would this rifle bring if the receiver had not been cut, assuming selling it was possible?  Ive not seen one of these before and was just reading the wiki...interesting history!
