Title: barrel lot numbers? Need help from the experts...
Post by: jjjxlr8 on October 14, 2015, 05:39:40 PM
I have a '54 Tula that has a 4 digit number stamped on the barrel.  I've never noticed this on any of my other SKS45 rifles and was wondering if anyone else has any similar examples.

Here's the number in question:  barrel lot number?  Assembly number of some sort?

Yeah, some russians have the numbers go vertical and some horizontal.......but all mine are under the stock line, weird you can see it with the stock on.
