I saw that the other day.  Unfortunately my GCA membership has expired and CMP won't let me order these at the moment :(

They will likely be out by the time I get everything straightened out!  Story of my life!  chuckles1

I've kept mine up to date because I'm sure the case of .22 I ordered over two years ago ??? will be here any day rofl I thought they might have a real shot at releasing the 1911s but I doubt it after last week.

ROFL!  You still have .22 on backorder there?   rofl2

Scary stuff!  I think they got a metric crapton of the spam cans.  at least I hope they got enough that there's still one or two left when I place my order in a week and a half!  thumb1

Thanks a lot for posting this MEBears!  I was in the same boat as RM but emailed my shooting club membership card for the year and they updated my ordering eligibility this morning.  That's an excellent price with the clips and the free shipping.

I now have some of those spam cans on order  banana time

I am always happy to help people spend money on ammo :) I was surprised it's a better deal than the loose stuff.

That free shipping hooked me. I called up a pal who still has up-to-date membership and got him to grab a can for me just to make sure I didn't miss out. Of course he had to order several for himself.  I might be a bad influence on people... chuckles1

Me too.  Good quality HXP, boxer primed, non-corrosive, single year and lot number, 24 en bloc clips, 4 bandoleers, 192 rounds in a sealed can that's great for long term storage, $0.60 per round ignoring all of the extras.  What's not to like about this deal?!   clap1

Glad you got some RM  thumb1

Mine came in yesterday and my coworker brought it to me today.

Nice looking spam cans, no rust, no major dents:

Here's the stock photo on the CMP site of what's inside:

Definitely hoping this stays in stock for the forseeable future.  I just got my GCA renewal confirmation so I can order from CMP by myself again.  I'll have to put another order in as soon as I know what the $$ looks like next month!  thumb1

Mmm, 1972, a very fine year!

Mine hasn't arrived yet but it'll stay looking just like your sealed cans for the foreseeable future, as I still have hundreds of rounds of loose HXP .30-06 to use.

Mine came in the other day. Two cans from '72 and a '70. All three were in excellent condition. I have some loose HXP but I'll be cracking one of these open soon. Hopefully it lasts a while so I can get a few more.

Looks like they just got some more in.  I got an email just now for Norwegian @ $10 less than what the Greek sold for in 2015, (same qty.):

http://estore.thecmp.org/Catalog/Item/4C3006XAYR-192P (website is way slow at the moment)

Here's the description from the email blast:
