This is a Paratrooper SKS imported by the Briklee Trading Company. When I found her she was a derelict. All I got was a stock, receiver, fcg, gas tube and piston. The stock was beat up perty bad and need to be replaced. In the back of my mind I thought about a Birklee Hunter clone. I had the parts laying around for years and never did anything with them. Never even looked at the factory number. One day I scored an extra red ring 4x20 scope and said to my self well maybe I should start this project. Thats when I realized it was a factory 666 and there was 666 in the serial number. Wow this will be a unique rifle. Bout the same time a guy by the name of vonlearnski starts posting pics of two custom wood stock for the SKS. They had custom front grips and built in pistol grips and wild airbrushed paint jobs. One even had images of Dirty Harry on it . Yeah Clint Eastwood. WEEELL I just had to have one of these stocks. So I asked him If he could make a red one for me with 666 in gold leaf. Well he jumped on it. I found a good blade side sling stock with hand guard in my pile and shipped it to him. A few weeks go by and I get this email that asked if he could add some of his artistic ability to the stock. Well lets just say he added the pentagram around the 666, the caricature of the devil smoking and cigar and the flames. That caricature of the devil was just plain CRAZY.

While he was building that wild stock I was assembling the action. I new this was going to be an excellent place to utilize one of my Albanian charging handles. Polished of coarse. Nos bolt with new guts. New Norinco receiver cover. Both the bolt and cover came right out of the blister pack. It just had to have a MOJO rear sight with a Tapco red front sight post(what else would I use!). The Bayonet I used came out of the junque box. It was in there because of a huge nick from the stock ferrule. I used the plasma cutter at work when the boss wasn't looking and a flapper wheel to get the final shape. Closed it looks normal but when deployed it's unique shape stands out. Ginsu filet knife was my inspiration. All the black parts are parkerized a semi gloss black. Once I got the stock back from Mike it took some sanding of the many coats of hand rubbed lacquer to get the fcg and the mag to fit. The lacquer is so deep no wood grain is visible. The stock feels like glass. As far as a gun stock goes it is like nothing I have ever seen before. I do a lot of plunkin with it. I never really tried to shoot long distances. More funner that way. I had to stop taking it to the range. Everybody wanted to take pictures with it.......
