my wasr for a 59/66 with $125 or 500 rounds Yugo is your typical used very good condition model only the bolt mismatched clean valve. opinions
Used WASRs in these parts sell for about $650 or so.
A decent M59/66 is about a $400 gun, without mismatched parts.
You can buy 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 for $220 online.
So 400+125+110=$625
I'd tell him the Yugo, plus the $125 AND the ammo.
For some reason, there's not overly high amounts of love for 59/66s in the collecting community in general.
Your typical 'force matched' 59/66 ran around $390 on gunbroker last month (before shipping and transfer fees). If you add the $125 (or 500 rounds of ammo) to the mix, you're at ~$515. Is the WASR worth that? New, it looks like they are selling for $569 (before shipping and transfer) at Atlantic (http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-rifles/cai-ak-47-wasr-10-7-62x39mm-rifle-detail.html?Itemid=0) so I don't think either side is too out of line with that deal, though the side trading the SKS is probably making out a bit better.
Having said that, if it was me, I'd bide my time and see about getting a better/nicer/all matching specimen for around the same price if not a bit cheaper. Very nice Yugo M59/66s aren't too hard to find if you beat the bushes a bit.
I am one of the guys who dislike the 59/66, my end plan is to trade the 56/66 for a cheaper "sino-Banain" plus 500 rounds. then I end up with a full case of ammo and the sks I want lol

Are you on facebook? Join some local gun trader pages on facebook.... you'll sell your WASR there, and probably find an SKS there too....that's where I have found most of mine.
I don't know guys. I bought a cherry, Cherry's Yugo for 450.00 from a fellow SKS files member a few months ago. I'd keep my money and continue looking.
Google: 59/66 Yugo, all matching, for sale
Just my .02cents worth.

Samco has M59/66s, 379.95 for very good cond, 409.95 special select cond.

Bud's lists a WASR-10 hi-cap for $582
Buy Century International Arms Inc. (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/36_756/Century+International+Arms+Inc./)
Personally, I'd throw the WASR up in trade for a run of the mill Chinese plus a case of ammo, or go all out, tempt fate, maybe see if you could squander a matching Russian or Albanian, even trade across the board.

He wants to get a gun in person, he doesn't want to buy one then have to pay shipping and transfer fees.
