Nice move...
Guessing he is making it in CA under licence with your exact specs?
YES
When do we get them for $140? :)

That's 140.00 Canadian. I can't sell that cheap. My costs are way more than that. I did reduce them to 200.00 USA though.
Marcus
US to CA exchange rate is 1/1.22
140ca is about 110us. Other side of the coin, 200us is about 240ca

Yes, and his production costs are less than mine also. I have to 'hire' a CNC company to make mine. He is making them himself at his shop. If I had a computer CNC, I could make them for probably half what I have to pay.

Just bustin your balls man. wink1
Congrats Marcus, that was well played. Should appease all the riff-raff too.

Thanks. Time will tell. No comments yet at any of the HiCal threads? I'm hoping they run like scared jack rabbits from HiCal.

I like a story with a happy ending. bouncecool1 Congratulations Marcus!
Stolen time and effort turned into wasted time and effort on their part. bat1
Glad it worked out, sounds like our neighbors to the north will be getting a better deal too.
With the advent of 3d printing...I would love to see licenses available for the design to make 'disposable' ones at home...or maybe even Kinko's (imagine that. :) ) I don't know the strength of the currently available plastics you can use for that, nor do I know just how much stress the adapter actually receives. But it might not be a bad idea to consider that as a more affordable option down the road, as someone will figure out your design and do it all over again. I would love to make the jump to the adapters...but I keep running into other parts/guns that seem more approachable budget wise.
Stupid poverty. banghead2
It is really cool that you were able to jump the border and make this work for everybody...especially you!
I dunno who you have making them now... But maybe you should have MagWedge make ALL of them so the cost in the US is on par. I see he has the ability to export his products to the US...

I'll just say, we are looking at our options.
