"482646266 Yugo PAP M59/66 (SKS) Grenade Launcher 7.62X39 Nicest One I Have Ever Seen 14 $375.00 M59/66 M All-Matching Good Decent looking gun here."
That is a nice looking M59/66 at a decent price thumb1 to whoever grabbed that one.
Funny how the average price of M59/66s was about the same regardless of condition :o :)) Suggests to me that this market is driven by people who just want a low priced shooter and consequently really nice examples might be grabbed by collectors for a shooter price.

My Yugo is in that kind of shape, and I paid $400 for it. I felt that was a fair price for numbers matching 60s gun in great shape.

Mid-South really has a nice presentation. They would pull in a good chunk of change if they were selling Russian SKSs or K98s or Lugers or whatnot...
Yugos really are the red-headed stepchild in the SKS world. Not rare, not typically pretty, not terribly collectable. They certainly have a ceiling on them, with only the 250/500 IO's (which in my opinion are *way* overrated) and the long barreled M59s the only two that I can think of that really get much of a premium.

I guess the allure for me (and probably others), is the grenade attachment that makes it unique. Take that off, and it's nothing special over any other SKS. And the irony there is the M59 "plain" version is much more rare, lol.
Yup, it's a bit odd that these aren't highly valued. Seems true in general of Yugoslavian firearms. I guess they are still widely available from retailers or were recently widely available (M57/M70 Tokarevs, M48s, M24/47/52s, etc.). It seems that as these dry up, the nice M59/66s will increase in value and collectability but predicting such subjective concepts as collectability is a bit of a fools errand rofl

Mitchell Arms 59/66 might rate some premium but there's never again going to be enough of them being offered at once to really test the market. I beat myself to death for over a year trying to find a 2nd one after buying the one I have, using my best google-fu I found a couple of other ppl that own one and plan to go on owning it, and Withergyld referenced one in his raw data serial table. In all the internet, that's all I was able to find of allegedly 200 rifles.
At one time I thought one of those IO's was the one to have but it seems some of them at least weren't machined all that great. The Mitchell had a better reputation for quality in it's time, they just don't get talked about anymore because of the whole teak claim, Mauser doctoring and so on..fit and finish on mine is great, to me anyway. Cherry's can get pretty nice too.
