Top one is a heavy refurb in a Chinese stock made to look Russian. Bottom one is a light refurb, no BBQ and is my nicest Russian thus far. I am planning on testing, cleaning, and photographing soon. Trying to find some spare time as I am brewing some beer, planning on smoking some salmon I caught in Lake Superior last week, and making venison jerky drool2
I want to be ready for May 15 Walleye opener!

You know how my wife finally figured out I had more than I was letting on? The extra gun cases I had wouldn't fit under the bed anymore and kept falling out onto her feet when she tried to push them under to make room. :))
She was none too happy! cry1
John, when you told me you had a 'Russian in a Chinese stock', that is most certainly *not* what I had pictured in my head. Those are two excellent specimens! Whoever did the wood on the Chinese did a darn fine job! thumb1
R-M,
I did the Chinese stock. I got the rifle from GB. Ninja stock and all. I sold all of the Ninja stuff, had a spare chu stock and figured what the heck. $225 in the whole thing. Then I traded the Russian with the chu stock for that Romanian M44 that I posted a while back. Today, that guy said he needed some $$, so I bought it back along with the other!
Soon I will be the guy needing some $$ :o

It's always easier to ask forgiveness than permission, or so I have heard. I just keep the gun cabinet locked. chuckles1
I really like that Chinese stock, nice job.
Looks a lot like the ghosts stocks to be honest. You use the ole torch method? Looks fantastic.
