Title: I.O. Sporter photo added
Post by: Ikecornell on September 01, 2017, 05:05:06 PM
  8) got a new Sporter for my Bday, AKM247C, even though it's the Ca. Model I like it a lot, shoots well (after some major sight adjustment) overall I rate a C to B-, for what its worth. Semper Fi.  8)

Hate to be the one to tell you, but IO stands for run away where AKs are concerned. The WASR 10 is a much better choice for an entry rifle, at the bare minimum a PSA "Liberty" would do.
IO uses cast parts where they should use hammer forged.

It's not just IO that has or is doing it..   Both Century and Palmetto State are guilty as well, they have used cast bits and even trunnions.

America... can build the uber snot out of a black rifle, but can't hit a lick on a simple Ak. I mean seriously.....a fricken 7th grade educated tractor mechanic could build one better  rofl2

Personal note to self....never buy an American Ak.   rofl2

A black rifle will never be an ak no matter how poorly the ak is built!   rofl
