IC's are dropping from the trees!
« on: January 30, 2015, 01:11:55 PM »
Found another possible Israeli capture this morning... unfortunately Bubba beat me to it and the pawn shop is too heavily invested in it.
CAI ST ALB import stamped, sanded and ruby shellacked stock, railed receiver cover and Cobray mag...

I have more pics but I am out and about right now.

Hmmm... A Romanian.

I too have a Romanian with the 80's style CAI import mark. Never seen an IC Romy. I think we'd need more pics. Cool find, but not sure.

Sure it's a red reshellac? Sure looks on par. Know what the price is?

No buttplate, and Bubba sharpened the bayonet, all for a mere $398.00.
No serial number on the stock.

Import mark:

I think this one's a bubba special.

Look at the screws holding on the rear sling swivel:

No way that comes in on an IC with phillips pan head screws and chromate coated washers...

Wouldn't that be a given? Look what else Bubba has done... fart1

But I agree, I offered 250 and he turned me down. I wouldn't go any higher than that...
Still, I'm just questioning the source and the features it has, not intending to buy it.

Not sure about the wood, didn't get a chance to really break it down. It didn't feel beech heavy, but that gritty shellac is too thick to see grain. It was sanded down pretty well, very slim stock.
Sad, really; if the receiver cover and mag were there and the bayo not ground on, I would have considered it. The bolt and carrier matched at least...

Carl is going to poop a VW when he sees what became of one of his babies.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.
