Teaching the Grandkids
« on: September 28, 2014, 02:19:55 AM »
After reading the intro by armedhippie talking about raising his kids in the country I though I would post photos of our Grand kids learning a little about camping, fishing, horses and firearms. I enjoy doing this with them probably more than they do!

Our oldest Grandson, Steele.

And his string of catfish.

Our youngest, Jace.

Jace riding Missy, all our Grand kids are good riders. The story behind him sitting on the camo shirt...he wanted to cover the girls' pink saddle!!

Jace bustin' caps in the .45

Isabella loves her Grandma's rectangle gun, just hasn't summoned the courage to touch it off yet!

Lawsyn is content for now with toting her brothers (Steele) game around.

And Cameron...well, we gotta wait a while on her but in the mean time she's eatin' good!!

Good times Danny....  looks like you have it well under control and life pretty well figured out.   8)

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

That's awesome right there.  thumb1

Great to see lil ones enjoying the outdoors with family. Love eating fresh fish and wild game with the kids when they can see where its coming from.

Your so right about parents/grandparents enjoying these little outings as much as the kids.

The camo shirt over the pink saddle... rofl

For sure. Those little Sparkies are on the path to good, wholesome, self sufficient American idyllic living.
Isabella looks plenty comfortable with an SKS in hand too, even if it's a good foot taller than her. I love it.
Lawsyn looks a wee bit nauseous about having to schlep around squirrel carcass. Teach her how to make squirrel & dumplings!
