Like the smell of cosmo??    Buy an empty crate somewhere somehow.  The smell will infest your house permanently and follow you everywhere.     thumb1

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

The Rusky ones are more common up here in Canada,, but your Yugoslav ones are much nicer. The Russian ones are as common as chicken teeth up here.Russian ones like the one in my basement, are painted a drab green with not a lot of inscriptions. I just store my hunting n shooting gear in it,works well .

I'm willing to talk to the guy about shipping or I can deliver to one or two locally.  I'm not getting in the crate shipping business.   :o  I'll ask him if I can give out his info privately if anyone is curious.  Heading down there tomorrow.  thumb1

Google found this; it came from this board.  I'm guessing those came out of Southern Ohio Guns.

For estimating purposes, the store I will ship with gave me a price of 107$ for Cinci to Beverly Hills Cali

Ok, here’s the deal.  Classic is only releasing their crates to 3 dealers; this guy is one of them.  He lives in the country and it’s 30+ minutes to the nearest UPS or Fed-Ex.  He’s not going to ship.  He’s 15 minutes off of I-95 - SC exit 135 (US-378).  You can find him on ArmsList.com or contact me if you need his number.

$40 score after 6hrs of driving.  I’ve already cleaned them up some; there’s a lot more that needs to be done!  I may bubba one of them……sand it and apply a nice stain.  We’ll see.  dance2

Does anyone have a template for the middle and top dividers? He only had the bottom ones.

I think the russian dividers would be a completely dif size.   I have a full set with my yugo crate, but dunno how to do a template other then simply posting the measurements.

Oh the smell in 3 hours of driving...It defiantly cleared my sinuses up!!!  rofl   The green boxes are M67 Ammo crates.

I'm going to hold off on dividers for now.  I'm really thinking about removing the accessory section on the Bubba one; it'll allow for two extra rifles per row.  I'll need to have new dividers fabricated but I'm no where near that point yet.  thumb1

Mine is just an average Russian crate,,I've seen many nicer. Some interior pics,,nothing special. Originally came with wax paper lining but most of that was ripped out by somebody before I got it.

Finished staining one of them; I'm probably going to use it for storage but I'm not sure yet.  It's not great but for $15 + $8 in stain...I'll take it   :)
