Taking a break from work and thought I would share a few pics of my Polytech M14 clone. I guess its not what some would say is a "real" M14 but this one shoots just fine.

thumb1 Mine does just fine too.. :) and still has the lug, it's a pre '89 import.

Not sure if they still make these ... but they were for a time quite a bit less than say a Springfield.

They have a good reputation as a reliable but much cheaper reverse-engineered version of the M14. That flash hider without actual grooves is one clear difference.

Sweet yours has the slotted flash hider. Thought about changing mine for a split second...just dont shoot it enough to spend the moolah.
