Some claim accuracy is better with a shortened sks.  Its really all about harmonics and could swing either way.

Great info!

Is the wood darker because of age?  Looks better than my 1990.  Lot's of
differences.  The guard rail on the gas piston is different. Are these common?
/26\ 7,000,000.  I dont think it has been fired.

It is much easier to handle than the 20".

Being a lefty you have to be creative how to hold it with the strap.  And adjust it differently.
It has Chinese writing on it.  Does that look original?

Thanks a lot.

Im new to the sks world.  Even though i have 2.  Im partial to the Chinese.

Think of it, and I'm sure I will be corrected if wrong  rofl  as a rebuilt military SKS in a commercial configuration...just with the barrel cut down, a 2 piece gas tube(that was a later design), a spike bayonet, a modified shorter variant, which the spike was also a later feature than the rifle and a replacement stock and handguard.
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

It looks so much different from my 90.  Which is an great rifle.  Flawless.

Maybe being 5'9 makes the para a little more comfortable.
