May sales didn't see much of a dropoff from April.  Some nice guns in this cycle!

PS:  I had a major screwup in the auto-generating avg, max, and min calculations for these commercial guns.  Prior month numbers from the table are a bit suspect., but going forward we should be in good shape.

The Briklee Para is interesting, for sure. I wouldn't mind owning that. Why would Briklee have swapped out the stock? Not a scope rail or a neutered FSB on this one. Good looking little Para, though. Basically the same gun as one of the CSI imported 23-24 million carbines, just shortened to para length and the SN'd stock switched out, for whatever reason.

"It's your gun, do as you please." Can that not apply to the D's anymore? What does someone living in the USA have to do while "using" a gun to make it end up looking like that? I have the .22LR Bolt Action that I bought when I was 15yo, (almost 50 years ago), that was used, used, and used some more, and it still looks good. Dang.

"One very nice SKSS Carbine, 16 inch barrel and was the predecessor to the SKS-M and Sporter. This rifle uses the normal 10 round SKS internal box magazine but has the short gas piston system. Bayonet is custom ground to the SKSS profile and is riveted to the rifle. The magazine, receiver cover and trigger group are un-serialized which is how the SKSS came new. All other components match.(Stock, bolt carrier, bolt, gas piston and gas tube)"

When I got my own SKS S, I thought someone had bubba'd it until I started seeing pics of others with the same ground-to-a-point bayos. I swapped it out with a "real" para spike. Glad I held onto the original. 

Yeah, Pat Adams has passed along some great SKS. I wish I had many of them.

Guys most all paras had the stock changed out during the para trooper conversion in China prior to import. It is rare to see a para with the original serial numbered stock. Wood filler and stock repairs are common on these rifles.

   Briklee never neutered the bayonet lug and yes they sold Paratrooper rifles without the "Hunter scope rail". My triple 6 is a non Hunter Para from Briklee.

None of the receivers covers hade the SN stamped into it. If the original is missing just look for a unnumbered replacement.

Found these stragglers while finishing up the Chinese Military guns.  Now I remember why I do the Chinese Military first and then the Commercial guns afterwards!
