A Peak production Mauser HSc Eagle L
« on: December 04, 2016, 11:39:43 AM »
Here it is note Military finish not the high gloss of earlier models.  This HSc is from the 1943 production and is one of 6700 guns produces for the German Police. I also posted these pictures on the Mauser forum and Alan Burnham who wrote the book on the Mauser HSc told me my gun was made by Mauser in July of 1943.

Updated Pictures.

May not be a high gloss finish, but boy that pistol sure has a nice clean finish all around :o   Nice warm wood tone on the grips.  Another winner Don  thumb1

That's a monster of a police HSC. Damn I love those guns. I know this gun is too late for the high polish finish but does it have the etched site ramp? What's the serial on it? I'm guessing 820xxx range.

No on the etched sight ramp it's smooth.  The serial number is 848164.

Dang that is a really, really late Hsc. Wow. The Germans only made it to 950k before the French started producing them. That gun could just as well be phosphated as it is blue.

I don't mean to argue with a Legend, but serial 948xxx would not be 1943 production. That's a '45 gun.

I made a typo on the serial and corrected it in the pervious post.  It is a 1943 gun.
