STANDARD ARMS MODEL G
« on: July 01, 2017, 06:39:43 PM »
Hi Fellas,

Anybody have a Standard Arms Model G?

I've come up on one in fair condition. They're quite the curiosity, unique and innovative, but a turd of a rifle (based against my beloved SKS) from what I've been reading. I'd have one if the cost wasn't too dramatic. Although boolits are available in the calibers offer when produced, it'd be a wall hanger even if functional. The risk of damage wouldn't be worth it. Your link is no good?

I don't have one... Actually had to look it up.  Seems like a cool rifle!

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I'd never heard of it before. For a shooter SA from that era, I'd rather have a Winchester Model 1907, but this one sounds very interesting.
