I'm not really a fan of the Russian variant....but I probably wouldn't turn that one down had it crossed my path. thumb1 I kinda dig that blued bayonet...my '50 and '52 both have the plain silver bayonet.
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

It's a nice gun Bob. Looks to be a long lever takedown tab on the receiver cover. I've got other similar prefixed guns in the database with the same.  thumb1

What exactly does that mean? I'm still trying to learn all the small parts. Is it that it is not the latch with the hole in the tab like the '49? Or were those only on the '49's?

Bob_The_Student, On page 2, I have a posting of 1950 transitions. This will give you a idea of what went on in 1950. #1 on the list cannot be confirmed. Much debate was argued on this carbine. Loose Cannon brought up a good case about receiver S/N. The remaining carbines can be confirmed.
