Soviet weapons designer Fyodor Tokarev, the man behind the iconic TT-33 pistol and SVT-40 rifle, holding one of his creations. Late 1940s - Early 1950s



The SVT certainly had a material impact on the great patriotic war...

The bolt is in the white. I thought only Finn’s were in the white?

Original bolts were in the white. What we commonly see is plum that comes from refurb.

Cool photo... first time Ive seen it as well.  The SVT just has just the coolest unmistakable profile of the Russian WW2 weapons.
