PW Arms is new to the Albanian Type56 imports. But they are using their own serialization system.

Highest tally I've seen reports of so far are two carbines in the 4000 range. No photos, only testimony:

..but PWA gun seems to be providing space holders for serial totals of 5-digits.

here's #00801

Has anyone here seen a five digit PWA serial yet?

I've got one in the 10,000 range. I'll post some pics when I get it cleaned up.

Sounds as though ours are from the same batch....mine are in that range as well.

Idk but I'm looking for the highest and the lowest. I just saw another one in the 11 thousand range on YT. 11,504. I'll let you know when I find one lower.

Big jump on my latest Classic 17647.  I suspect there may be a LOT more to be had that aren't for sale yet.

Its an 11m as well....rather than the rash of 12m we have been seeing. I picked it up on the 3rd, and they now claim to be out of stock...again.
I suspect there will be another offering soon, with a higher price. Closer to November.

I just looked at the two I got from CF. One I get two months ago and one 3 weeks later both 12 mil. The first is a PW with 11k, my second is 17k.

So in theory, there's gotta be another 5k or so out there that someone is holding on to.  This is a pretty large amount of SKSs, seems like a lot more than in 2012.

I am wondering if they went for the crummier ones first.  The difference between my two is night and day, and the older one is the nicer one. My first the stock is so thin on the sidewalls, I daresay I could crush it if I squeezed the sides together. The crossbolt actually will stick out if even moderate squeezing is done to it.  The second is normal.

Ben did say something about the importer sorting them for cracked stocks and obvious damage. I wonder if entire lots are being sold of various grades. If so, I really wonder who has what's left....and what condition those are in.  It seems like it might be good business to first drive up the average price for a beat to hell SKS, create the 'new normal' and then unleash some really nice ones for crazy money.

It could be anyone, perhaps someone completely different who is waiting for other suppliers to run out perhaps?
With prices the way they have been, it's possible they are just waiting to see how much they can get away with asking for.  Especially if they are nicer.
