From 571 we know when he Mr. D. Tillman or his parents applied for his social security card he was residing in California.

If he's dead, you may be able to find out more at ancestry.com or similar places that keep death records associated with expired social security numbers.

I taped off 4 of the digits just to preserve his identity.

If only 4 digits are covered by the tape, it would only be an 8 digit number and not a 9 digit Social security number.

It is a 9 digit #. I misspoke is the first post regarding it. There are 5 numbers under the tape
