Solid looking set up. I'm a big fan of shotgun cards. I have a few 5 round ones from SKD tactical, and I mounted one on the receiver of my Mossberg 500, just like yours.

How do you like that Elzetta mount?

I don't it moves under recoil. I've used antivibration loctite on the screws and rubber pieces to try and keep it from sliding. All a no go.

Bummer. I've been looking for a low-cost, quick-detach light mount and light. I use my shotgun for trap shooting, but it wears a shorter barrel at home, hence the need for a removable mount.

If you have trouble with that mount on a 20 gauge, it would probably get rocked on my 12 gauge.

Yeah I followed the elzetta directions to a tee and used the proper 20 gauge adapter to get it to fit. Used the rubber pieces in the shims like they said and like I said used the anti vibration loctited with no luck. The only thing I haven't tried is red loctite but I want to be able to remove the elzetta for cleaning.

That's real nice. Someone going to have a bad day/night if you have to defend your family/home with it.

I'm a fan of the 20ga.

I find that at most practical distances, it'll to anything a 12ga will do.

#3 buck has pretty much the same ballistics as a .44 magnum I've heard.

No,

It came with a bantam stock that had spacers. I didn't like it.  13" without any spacers.
