My "other" AR
« on: August 31, 2016, 12:07:00 PM »
This was actually the first AR I built anything on.   In this case the lower.  The upper is a STAG but on that I have also replaced the bolt with a PSA Nickel Boron Premium BCG and the handguard with MagPul.

A much simpler and lighter AR.  To be honest there's a lot to be said for simpler.

I like it.   thumb1

The AR I wanna build requires about $1500.  You have any spare cash?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Nice..  thumb1

I had this, shot half a mag, maybe a full mag, I tried, and then it sat for 2 maybe 3 years. Just didn't interest me, I have Glocks, S&Ws and what not.

Like I said, I ripped my optic off and traded it off for this.. chuckles1

I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

Nope.  My other one I built is more in that price range not counting the optic.  The nice thing about AR's though is you can buy them one piece at a time.

It's actually never had a failure of any kind.  Honestly that's not all that surprising though since I clean my guns each range trip and it's never been dragged through the mud or anything "tacti-cool" like you see people doing on YouTube.  My tacti-cool days are as far gone as my waist line...  :-X

I'd put it up against any other AR though, I think it would hold it's own.
