Browning Nomad
« on: November 23, 2019, 01:44:32 PM »
Another I dug up.... it's the design that got me.. huh...imagine that....looks very much like the Colt and High Standard.. it's a Browning Nomad made in 1969...came with original book and pouch, in April 1971 it sold new out the door for $75.42. I got it less than one would pay for a new Browning Buckmark.. The Nomad was made from '62 to '74. Condition wise... it's almost mint, the blueing on the grip is perfect....the only exception is 2 small scratches on the left side of receiver. I doubt it's ever had more than a box or two through it, the mag follower shows no markings or wear.  I was kind of shocked to see proof marks still in use given the date.

I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

That’s a real beautiful Browning  thumb1 It appears to have an adjustable rear sight, at least for windage.

One day you should take a family photo of all your Luger lookalikes if they will fit in the pic. Nice addition . I might have a mag for you. Ill dig it out and send a pic. Got it in a bundle buy last summer.

It is very smooth..just like the High Standard and Colt... Guess it would be considering the name..

Sweet shooter.
A buddy stumbled into one in similar shape.
It has a shorter barrel, like on the cover of your brochure.
