was at ther gun shop today and checked the serial number on my yugo sks. It is a Z prefix with a 7000** serial number. If I remember, that should putit in the mid '80's ?? It is a M59/66A1.  Thanks for the help as always

Kool!  Z series is 1986 based on the logbooks.   Known S/Ns range from 697k to 705k. Should have tritium vials for the night sights and an angle backed grenade launcher w/o the radial porting holes. The later series are very nice firearms.  thumb1

Is it in decent shape?  All matching?    Hows the bore?

all # matching. missing stock magazine , ( has 20 round tapco mag , also needs bayonet, and cleaning rod.  Stock has a couple bumps/nicks in it. Bore looks real good.  I'll post pics when I get it. If I can get them to post. no luck with that so far
