can not locate exact information found on gun

 Have gotten a rather slick looking sks with matching numbers but after looking I can not find approx. date for the rifle. It appears that the only thing altered is the butt stock, the original has been replaced with a rubber one that adds about 1 in. to the length and prohibits using the cleaning kit (if I had one). The markings on the side !. start with 3 Chinese symbols followed by a rectangle box with the numbers 0129 which I think may be an arsenal stamp. Next is a series of numbers  210610 followed by a D . the numbers 0610 appear on the reciever, stock, trigger housing and a couple of other places. I'm not sure what the Chinese symbols indicate but think the 0129 in the rectangle is the arsenal but do not know what not sure what the 21 means think the 0610 may be the serial # but have no idea what the D following it means.  Have tried to supply all the info. I have would appreciate any fill in the blank that can be supplied.  THANKs ArkSlim @ twains60668@mypacks.net

Slim, welcome aboard.   Your stock would seem to be original to the gun, and you might want to see if you could remove the butt extension to see if the original butt plate is there.  Pictures are easy to post here and we enjoy seeing new weapons.  The really experts should replyshortly, but the pictures would help.  Cheers, Bruce.

Have looked missing original is not there thinking about getting another although I like the additional length . Sorry but I do not know how to post pictures on this contraption. Guess I am in the same time zone as the gun

The three Chinese characters mean Type 56 (1956).

21 means the 21st year of production of the Type 56, so 1976. You are correct, the [0129] is the arsenal stamp.
