Greetings, I’m a hobby/recreational shooter and have a couple commercial Chinese SKS rifles I like to tinker with from time to time. They both came to me bubba’d. The one I shoot is a regular old Norinco SKS rifle that I’ve modified more to my liking over the years, with a tech rear sight and a more accurate front post sight. My second rifle is a Norinco Sporter (I believe a “D” model) that was made to accept AK mags. I haven’t shot the Sporter yet, because of some feed and trigger issues with dummy rounds. I’m still trying to sort those issues out, which has led me to this forum, where I hope to get some insight and make some repairs myself if I’m able to. I’m trying to mostly un-bubba the D, with a wood stock close to what the original might have been like.
