Unissued, non-serialized. 1952 Tula stock.
« on: March 10, 2023, 10:14:16 PM »
I picked up this stock just over a year ago from a member on gunboards. He purchased the stock from Tuco some years ago at a gun show.

The stock has the standard finish-- and I've set another 1952 stock next to it for comparison

Though it has been finished, it has NO inspection stamps where stamps are commonly seen. And no " Ю " stamp on the right side of the butt stock.

I have since removed the paper on the butt plate: sadly there was no cleaning capsule kit inside.

I am especially interested in the absence of inspection stamps on a finished stock.

Pretty nice chunk or wood. PAX

Interesting, What are you planning on doing with it?

BTW, I have a NOS Chinese cross-bolt assembly that looks just like the Russian one in the other stock if you need one. I think it would make a good match. just sayin'  :)
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.
