I've been traveling alot for work the past month, with another month, or more to go, but, I dug this up in-between my travels.. I had to scratch an old Mossberg addiction. A cool old Mossberg 352KB, this one was made between 1960 and 1968....production of the 352KB ran till 1971, but alas, this one has no serial, so it predates the 1968 GCA. The scope is a era matching Weaver V4 4x with the matching Weaver scope mount, it has a fine crosshair and for it's age is pretty clear. The whole rifle is in very good shape for being a commercial beater thats 50+ years old, there was a small spot of surface rust on the scope and a slight scuff on the stock from where the sling rubs, not much else. Another plus was it's all original, nothing is missing, the factory sights remain and it had the factory 7rd magazine, not some cheap knockoff. One thing I really like, is it's a fairly compact rifle, light weight and short when compared to most old Mossberg rifles, it has an 18 inch barrel, but for it's length, it is fairly beefy when compared to modern .22 rifles... and the best thing, I got it cheap.....
One oddity of this model is the fold down front grip design, something that is oh so popular today on modern assault weapons. Another oddity, is it's ability to handle .22 shorts, longs and long rifle, typically a semiauto rimfire has issues with the mix.

The old .22 that does a modern day parlor trick, the stock nose folds down to act as a grip...or a monopod, if one desired.

Great rifle! I'm very fond of those old .22s and that's a beauty with a vintage scope and what appears to be a good quality leather sling thumb1
That characteristic finger groove pistol grip is very similar to my Mossberg Model 44 but that forend grip certainly isn't. Is this one of those new-fangled assault-type rifles? :o chuckles1

That donkey-dong makes it an assault weapon capable of mass murder. Better keep an eye on it.

The trademark grip is found on many old Mossbergs, several of mine have it.. hummm...I wonder if the front grip would classify it as an a-salt weapon..

A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon.. fold it and it ain't conspicuous.

I think you're probably right that in certain jurisdictions, this sucker would indeed be considered an 'assault weapon' by the letter of the law because of the multiple evil features. thumb1

Now....I might consider a "G" gun.... no G34 MOS nea1 .. now, a G40 MOS, that invokes a certain Cintas pants movement.. I'm so totally down for that extra mm in the caliber. drool2 chuckles1
