Haven't had the opportunity yet; that was my plan this weekend, but a revolving bug has cropped up again, and I had to ditch plans for a range session. Bore looks strong enough, though. And I love to run these with the ammo intended for them: M67 cartridge is one of best, if not THE best ammo I've ever fired in any military weapon.

Thanks, RatedZ. I'm happy to have it and I really appreciate it for the historical significance that it presents. While I enjoy the "factory new" ones, these old beat up war dogs really have an attraction all their own.

The placement of the crescent moon over the star is closer to Turkish heritage. "Asim" is also Turkish - but not uncommon in other Muslim countries.
