What are these?
« on: May 11, 2015, 07:24:56 PM »
Little bit of a time crunch here...found a guy selling both of these....he sent me pics of the lighter one with all markings, but he said the darker stock one has NO markings or serials at all????

The lighter one is a 0221 rectangle arsenal.

Do these show any signs of legit AK mag guns?

Thoughts?

Thanks Joe. I didn't know there were steel duckbills :(.

The lighter one is a 1970, it has the big 70 before the 0221 rectangle. I guess it's nothing special if it's a duckbill.

What do you make of the darker one? Almost looks like a Yugo to me. He said it has NO markings anywhere on it. The only thing he found was a 00-00004 in the milled side of the bolt, which looks just like the 00-00022 on my Yugo.

Yugo...  has to be a serial or run fast.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Yeah the bottom one has a coarse grain as found on Yugos. And I agree with Loose no serial no buy. 30 round metal duckbill mags made by USA Mags were the standard all thru the 80's and 90's
