Howdy

My medium kid gave me his SKS about two weeks ago (thanks!).  He'd rather just have his AK so I'm the big winner here.

I've wanted an SKS for quite a while so am very happy for the gift.

It's a Chinese model.  Shoots well - I have only put 20 rounds through it so far but I like it!  My small kid and I are going out to the back "yard" and do some shooting later today so I'll have a better feel for it later.  So far, I like it as well as my AR15 (neither is "better" - they're both good - just different).

Grew up just west of Denver, lived in Cheyenne a while and am now north of Durham.  We have a small, independent, motorcycle shop in our garage - Vicious Cycles.
