Title: Mossberg 500 - need stock suggestions
Post by: Chase the fizz on April 01, 2018, 03:28:52 PM
Got a mossy 500 6+1 with 20” barrel. Supposedly came out of the security office of the nuclear plant in northern georgia. Absolutely awesome condition.

Now then, it has great wooden furniture, but the lop is over 14” and is just too long for me. I was looking for a shorter lop stock, like the 12” hogue overmold set, but i dont want to pay the $70 for that set.

Im leaning towards finding a youth stock in wood or maybe just any other options with a shorter lop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Magpul sga all the way. It's very ergonomic and has adjustable length of pull using spacers.

I agree, the Magpul stock and forend is the way to go...   total versatility and you should be able to pickup both pieces for ~$100-$120.

My bedside 870 has these as well as a streamlight HP attached.

I just hate the look of the sga, plus i couldnt afford it anyway.  Lol

Id even be up to trade with someone if they wanted some wood furniture in great condition.
