We occasionally see a few SKS carbines with marks from the Middle East, so I thought you folks might appreciate a little different flair from the region.
Not many of these original Russian Makarov PMs out there. This one is dated 1968, lots of handling wear, non-import of course, and has a painted 112 rack number on the left grip. Most likely an Iraqi capture, as others have been posted with similar markings.
Don't want to know how it got here, just glad that it did.
Enjoy!

Nice!
Looks like some kid must have gotten a hold of it at some point. I would use mineral spirits because its alot less potent then say acetone etc. Should come right off... thumb1

Love the Makarovs and that one has incredible character thumb1
Some former Republican Guard major and current taxi driver is probably sitting at a cafe in Fallujah toking on a hookah and ruing the day he surrendered it to a USMC lieutenant.

Oh yeah !! Spring has sprung in Maine and here come the garage sale finds .. Oh Boy.. Here we go again.. That's an amazing find ! Specimen !! as some would say. clap1. Hey its an Izzy !! Have you shot it ? Probably need your readers to see down the pipe so be careful. And don't post up a pic standing next to a 3 point buck holding that thing this winter.. chuckles1 chuckles1 really cool Makarov thumb1

Why are you picking on me and my 3-point bucks? You don't need as many Mak bullets to drop them!
And no, I won't be firing. No need to risk breaking those grips, which are a big part of the value. I didn't get it at a yard sale, but I did get it at a show for standard import Makarov pricing, if that helps!
Besides, I have cheap P64 if I really want to bruise my hands. Man, does that mother kick.
