Rumours abound that the Browning Hi-Power will or may be discontinued at the end of this year.

Already?! It's not even 100 years old ;)

I expect the prices of them to go up with these rumours/truth. May also be a marketing ploy to get more sales for it. And, if sales get better, they may continue to keep producing it. But, who knows? ;)

Could be...like a "Farewell Tour" in the rock and roll world...good for ticket sales thumb1 :))
I guess the High Power I'd want has already been manufactured and is already pricey...WWII era. I don't buy a lot of newly manufactured firearms. If the reported facts, or rumors, are true then it's sad in an "end of an era" sort of way.

Pft... Who needs an outdated pistol like that when you have glock and highpower.
