Thanks!  I sure wouldn't rule out shooting this. It's a refurb so no degradation of value by shooting it.  However, it still has some Cosmoline in it and I'll probably leave it that way for now. I've got one or two other SKSs that I can shoot...


...although, that trigger feels pretty good  drool2 shooting1

I wouldn't fault you at all for retiring it, that's a fine looking specimen. The trigger on my Russian leaves a lot to be desired but it's much better than our Chinese carbines.
