Another Egypt Contract FN49
« on: October 04, 2015, 11:10:59 AM »
I'm such a Phos follower.  :P

Took this one in on trade for my yugo sporter bubba sks.  Its a typical mixed serial Century gun with a plastic butt, but I think its cool.  Always wanted to add one to the collection.  And.... Now I can be just like Phos32.   :)

Nothing in particular.  I'm just impressed with how well they're made. Well machined, robust receiver and solid three-point anchoring of the trigger group to the receiver. It's clear that Dieudonné Saive designed it to handle full powered WWII era military cartridges.

Ah.. Yeah, I can tell there is quite alot of fine workmanship in these guns.  If I can only figure out the proper configuration of the three return sping and one little guide rod mess.  Boy is that ever hinky.

Almost went out and ran some Turkish ammo through it, but hearing it is hot stuff, I decided to ask e few guys more experienced.  I chose to wait until I find some dif ammo... I like my face.
