Getting hard to find these anymore under $170 and yours came with a holster. I can only make out the 4 of the year stamp but it looks like a 1944 Tula, since the hammer inside the star was distinctive for that year (according to 7.62x54r.net).
I don't have one of these revolvers but it's definitely on my list. There are so many interesting traits: the longevity of service, the attendant history, the odd cartridge, and the unique "sealing" mechanism.
