It looks like a picatinny type rail mount would be needed, IIRC it should be predrilled on top of your receiver to accept a rail. Pick up a rail for a 10/22...screw it on...and clamp on the scope at the desired eye relief, which with a red dot, essentially whatever gives you the largest sight picture, with the least visible amount of the tube.
The rail should be pretty easy to locate, even locally. It's a pretty common gun...a local sporting goods shop may have one. They are pretty inexpensive IIRC, then again...I bought my last one over 20 years ago.
