Anyone know the origin of this scope mount?Could the markings (stamps) be Chinese?

I'm trying to understand how it fits to any scope and isn't too high to still use? Odd mount, for sure. Not sure on the markings but I've never been completely educated on all the Comm Bloc markings. Do you own the rifle?

The stock looks to be Chinese, but without more pics, it's just a guess.

I would say it looks alot like the one in the link below, just the one posted here is maybe.....upside down..

it's possibly a Molot rail that Kalanka Optics sold.... look up pictures of that mount, and see what you see.
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I don't own the rifle. It's on GB. The scope mount threw me so I was hoping to get some info on this thing. It doesn't appear to be a genuine CommBloc mount. And, it definitely looks high altitude for a 1" CommBloc optic.

Could be that the scope is side mounted low. Does look similar to the one in GM's link. PAX

The Barska would be too high for my liking.

I've seen a few of these...in places...the mount is upside-down.  It mounts low alongside the stock, which is why the optics have such a high base.
