New Romy Prefix?
« on: October 03, 2015, 10:24:52 AM »
I ran across this while doing the September GB listings.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=508775108

Nothing fancy about the gun, in fact the auction is bonafide 'horsetrash' in the lack of detailed photos.  One particular image did get my attention though:

I'd not seen a "RE" prefixed gun before.  This one is likely a 1960 gun if it matches with the RA/RB/RC & Rd's.  If they went alphabetically, it may be one of the last produced.

Thats an RB...  I can clearly see the right portion of the letter making a B

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I have RB 1247. Its a 1960. So the two guns were probably in the same building somewhere in Romania at the same time.  thumb1
