I was mainly curious if there was a sheet for the Chinese data base you could fill out before going online to enter the information here.  The last time I was going back and forth so much between the parts and the PC to enter the information it got a bit tiresome.

Not that I know of.  What are you looking for in a data sheet?  Type 56's have so many feature variations, a single sheet to cover it all would be a toughie I'd think.  Heck, even the SKS identifying sheet for type 56s I have in the FAQ section barely touches a small portion of the features in one page:

It appears that year 22 /636\ guns generally have a version of this stamp like yours shows with the atypical stamp.  I'm honestly not even sure where the A and B versions come from, in my files I only track them as /636\ with no distinction.  Here's a grouping of them, I can't make out a definite A vs B or a transition year (maybe the second year 14 gun??? But then I have many other year 14s that show sharp corners on the 6's).

Year 13:

Year14:

Year 16:

Year 17:

Year 18:

Year 22:

Years 26:

LC will have to comment on it as I believe he was the one that coded them as A or B.

I love CZ 75s. Sharp looking gun and those short rails can get rather spendy. Congrats  thumb1

CZ covered most of it well. Does it have an import mark?

Cool pic of Simonov’s comrade and rival. I’ve never seen an SVT-40 in mint original condition!

Very cool  8) The grooved charging handle and rear sight are different on these.

I wanted one of those after I had completed the US manufacturers but time ran out (WA resident) before our version of an “AWB” went into effect pullhair1
