My SVT 40 is one of my favorite rifles to shoot.

Here is a little Gun porn:

Nice!  Details: maker, year, matching, Finn marked, etc.?  :)

What makes it one of your favorite shooters (I've never had one)?

It's accurate as hell, I mean Last november we have a pumpkin shoot, well well put tanerite packs in them, this rifle was the only one that could hit the pumpkins at 100 yards with iron sights. the muzzle flash is epic, and every time I bring it to the range everyone wants to shoot it.  it looks bad ass is another. :)

Here is a picture if the receiver marks.

Here are the Pumpkin shoot pics

Great SVT40, and a Tula to boot! I miss mine and I never should have gotten rid of it :(.

Mine was doing 3" groups open sights at 100 yards. The recoil is a amazingly soft for such a large round. SVT-40 was definitely an incredible firearm!

I have a very short list of non SKSs I want someday.  The SVT is head and shoulders on top of the list.
Yours is an absolute beauty!  Thanks for sharing....someday I hope to join you in ownership of one of these beasts. :)

Thanks for sharing some great pictures, and nice stack of steel and wood. Looks like a good time was had by all. PAX
